Socialism by Edwin Clyde Robbins.
This book is from the early 20th century "Handbook Series" from publisher H. W. Wilson. These handbooks attempted to explain their subject thoroughly through collected articles covering the subject from several points of view. Every handbook also contained an extensive bibliography for further study.
"The purpose of this book is to give the reader a general knowledge of Socialism... The discussions are popular rather than technical and, in so far as possible, are non-partisan... The leading schools of Socialism are treated separately. Thus the Utopians and the Christians, although having some common beliefs, are each given a section. The followers of Karl Marx, the acknowledged orthodox Socialists, and the disciples of Edward Bernstein, the avowed revisionists, are treated separately."

Signal Score

What is Signal Score?

Signal Score ranks podcasts by meaningful discovery behavior, not by who is already biggest. It blends scout approvals, saves, shares, repeat engagement, and editorial review into one weighted score.

Ranking notes

  • High-intent actions count more than passive traffic.
  • Trusted scouts carry more weight than brand-new accounts.
  • Recency can matter for discovery, but it is not treated as a proxy for quality.
  • Per-user caps and distinct-actor rules limit gaming.

Signal Score is directional, not absolute. New shows can move quickly, established shows can cool off, and no score is paid placement.
